Daemon Sailor Season 3 Ep. 11 UNCUT!

Comments

Watched season one after all the hype, barely made it past episode 10 and only because I knew ep 19 was supposed to be groundbreaking. Was pleasantly surprised with S2 : the pacing was better, new characters were charismatic, villains were fun to watch, boring "humor" scenes were almost cut out entirely, and that screaming orange kid was sleeping. S3 to me was like going back to S1, the humor scenes were back, characters were boring, villains lacked personality, did not care for the village people, tanjiro and nezukos power ups no longer surprise me, but I guess I take this show over watching nothing on Sundays. Best thing about S3 was the OP in my opinion.- Happy the season is over and ready for what the next season is bringing!!! Jujutsu Kaisen, bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, good times are comming!!!

As much as I love watching this show, I really dislike how its hyped up to be "one of the greatest animes" because it suffers hard from its lack of plot or at least mediocre plotline. First season was difficult to get through for me. Season 2 and the movie was better. This season, while being visually just as amazing if not more, just didnt hit. I even skipped 2-3 episodes just because I wasn't invested in any of these characters enough to care bout their backstory. And of course, the story itself was very straight forward and simple. If I dont shut my brain off for this series and just appreciate Ufotable for single handedly carrying this show, I would never be able to get through it lol. That being said, the small moments like the first episode of the upper moon meetings and these crazy fight sequences are able to keep me invested enough to finish this series I hope.

In your discussion, I get what you're saying. The story of Demon Slayer is pretty straight forward and doesn't have twist and turns and complicated systems like HxH or AoT. I don't think it's trying to be those either. Gotouge-sensei just enjoyed making it, imo. As someone who has read the manga, I'd say the human aspect and emotions are more important for the story than the plot itself. I also feel like this arc went where it's supposed to. The characters got stronger so they struggled less. The demons were cocky and lost harder than expected. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ (they did ssssssstretch the fights out since they wanted to end exactly with Tanjiro leaving the village) And I don't know, I'm an old lady, I had tears in my eyes along with Tanjiro despite knowing Nezuko was gonna live, lol. In any case, I can't wait to see people's take when the Demon Slayer anime as a whole reaches it's conclusion.

I think while Demon Slayer is definitely a "shut your brain off and grab the popcorn" type show/story, I respect that it tells the story it intends to and ends relatively quick compared to most manga/anime of this popularity. I hate when a story gets beaten into the ground and dragged out because of its success. That being said this arc was dragged out a bit too long for my taste.

yeah i agree

Tbh i think demon slayer isn't really supposed to be story based. Its driven on it's characters and fight scenes. So i dont think expecting too much plotwise from this show is ideal for this type of anime
