lol definitely was not expecting that Berserk connection, but hey I'm all for it. If we've got our Guts, Griffith, Casca, and Judeau, then who's our Corkus?

I strongly recommend you guys check out Chapter 61 (or the SP) of the manga, which takes place eight years prior to the start of the series (this works as an extra chapter specifically produced for this episode, so nothing will be spoiled) called "Love Flowers Pointing at the Stars". It was all about Seika and Nijika's past, and everytime I read it makes me cry like a baby...I'm not sure if they will adapt the chapter in the following sequels though (perhaps not) so check it out if you'd like to!

ahh this show is a wonderful intersection of my interests that makes me smile with joy. I don't think a show hit like this for me since "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken" Which I also recommend ;)

I'm not sure, but I think the credits didn't have any visuals bc a bit more work was put into this episode. Maybe they just wanted to showcase the name credits more. Also this was the end of the first volume in the manga, so that's probably why the end had that season-ending type feel to it.

Also I absolutely love that you can hear the difference in quality in their first performance, especially in kita's singing and nijikas drumming, they did a fantastic job to make it kinda bad but not overly obvious to the point where it's unbelievable.
