Man, I just love the commentary of the narrator at the end of the episode, basically, Meruem can have all the evolution he wants, but even that couldn't save him from a cheap bomb of which there are many other stronger weapons at the hands of humans. Perhaps that is the potential Netero talked about.

2023-09-28 14:50:07 +0000 UTCThe english translation don't do a good job of conveying this, but apparently in japanese, when Netero says "Don't underestimate mankind's endless possibility of evolution", another way to take this is "Don't underestimate mankind's endless possibility of cruelty"
