Ahhh Hiro, the little annoying brat haha He is actually a really good character. His introduction is indeed pretty annoying but it is fun to see his development. He has a good heart just doesn't have a lot of filter and politeness for others besides Kisa haha He is indeed a kid but he acknowledges that and is willing to improve and that is a really nice thing. The next episode and the ones until the end of the season are ~chef kiss~. Really excited to see your reaction to them. Make sure to have tissues at hand for a few of them.

Also I really love Hiro! Yes he is very annoying in this episode but I actually think he's a very well written character and I'm excited for you guys to see more of him :)

2023-10-12 18:35:30 +0000 UTCAs someone in a clan, it really just means you share the same surname. Some of you are related, some of you are complete strangers. It basically means your close cousin is a part of your clan, but also two classmates with the “Smith” surname who have never met nor have relation are also technically considered part of the same clan. So unless they directly state out they’re biologically related (like Yuki and Ayame), it’s pretty safe to assume they’re not all family family. But in my culture, asian culture in general, even if you’re the slightest bit related as in your parents’ siblings or even your parents’ friends or any older figure in general, we’re expected to call them ‘aunt’ or ‘uncle’, ‘cousin blank’ and etc.

2023-10-12 15:32:57 +0000 UTCIirc there is like 150+ families in the Soma clan so while they’re technically related most of it is so distant it doesn’t really matter. Japan outlawed clans ages ago, but there are still some familial lines from then that hold heavy sway.

Also you will see later but Hiro's mom is literally the best mom in the whole Sohma clan
