Uso = lie, his nose is based on Pinocchio and his full name is based on Aesopp (like Aesopp's Fables where "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" was published)

Yeah you explained it pretty well but I like that. Way better then the live action had. I appreciate these classic throwbacks to romantic literature. Also yes of course lol, tangled is a very late adaptation of the old Rapunzel fairy tale.

It's not really "classic chivalry romance/damsel in distress" though. It's a big role reversal in that the "Knight" is the rough and tumble troublemaker of the town, a known liar that nobody really respects or likes all that much. And the force that's keeping Kaya locked up is not some terrifying witch or ugly monster, but instead someone who is the very picture of respectability, refinement and politeness. Someone that the townspeople and Kaya implicitly trust.
Kaya is not locked up by force, but is instead manipulated by Klahadore into believing that him isolating her by posting armed guards at her front door and that him driving away her only friend are all actions taken out of love for her because he's *so* worried about her safety.
TLDR; Syrup Village Arc did Tangled before Disney did XD.

"now that you've drawn your pistol, put your life on the line", "those aren't for threatening people" are some badass shanks quotes

The one thing I really loved about this episode is it used the classic chivarly romantic Damsel in distress, you know standing outside the girls window being able to talk to her well she is basically in captivity, deffinitly different to how they modernized it in the live action.

Micheal Jackson's Uncle moonwalking into the arc at the end like nobody's business will never fail to not make me laugh.
