I always thought this was the earliest PandaMan of many, but I just saw him on Kuro's crew a while ago, there's always another instance of the easter egg. I subscribe to the theory that PandaMan is the narrator and is following the crew.

Some of these episodes that are mostly just fun shenanigans are super nice to watch. Great vibes π When people say One Piece is slow and boring early on, I think that's because they go in expecting an epic Shonen battle simulator like some other series'. One Piece is more of an adventure Manga than a battle Manga (at least early on). All I know is the older I get, the more I enjoy these chill episodes, and the closer we get to the end of the series, the more I miss them

Think of it as a "Where's Waldo" situation, as Oda enjoys sneakily placing this character in the background of certain panels. The Baratie's atmosphere is fantastic; the food is so delectable that patrons are willing to endure even customer altercations, with some even coming solely to witness pirate brawls. Having Luffy as a chore boy is a surefire recipe for chaos and trouble.

There is a conspiracy theory that says's hes the strongest OP character in the series because he's a mysterious enigma and know one knows why he suddenly pops up out of no where. Maybe he's secretly acting as a spy agent gathering intel so he can face down the SW crew at the end of the story as the final enemy. who knows what his objectives are though.
