2023-11-03 11:01:59 +0000 UTCFun fact: The Japanese Title for this show "Sousou no Frieren" can be interpreted in two different ways, and thus has been translated in two different ways. The first meaning is "to hold a funeral processsion" or "to give someone a final send off". The other meaning is "to ruin" or "to spell the end of" This results in some fun wordplay that's sadly lost in translation, because to Japanese watchers/readers, they would assume the title was indicating the first meaning, given that the first chapter/episode is entirely about Frieren experiencing the loss of a dear companion. However, this episode/chapter would also reveal that it holds the other meaning as well, just for the Demons, which makes for a fun reveal XD.
