2023-11-04 07:01:15 +0000 UTCI think Aura was moreso questioning why Frieren would continue to follow what Himmel would've wanted her to do if he was long dead. It wasn't her bargaining. Like how the girl demon in the flashback couldn't understand why her killing the elder and giving his daughter as a replacement for the daughter she killed was unacceptable. The only person, in her mind, that was impacted was the Elder and now the Elder was dead. So why should anyone else care? It's basically more reinforcing that the reasoning of demons are fundamentally alien to that of humans.
