Looking forward to the end of arc podcast. Interested to see you revise some of these opinions with more context. Yes, Nami leaving is more dramatic in the LA. However, I think this choice makes it faaaaaaar more dramatic later when Luffy and the crew finally confronts Arlong.

2023-11-07 21:15:21 +0000 UTCI can say the power scaling in One Piece has never been an issue for me, it’s all very believable. Bad power scaling has ruined a lot of anime for me, but as a week to week manga reader I can tell you it’s great in this.

They ruined so many characters just with that, although the writing at the end helped a lot with that as well. I'm still far from getting to the end of OP but they're staying pretty consistent about the power scaling so far. I don't think they'll be disappointed, especially if they compare it to Naruto! 😂
