Personally, I am not a fan of the dub, I found the voices for most characters to not suit them that well but if you decide to go through that route, I'd understand and it is still pretty good. I really liked the progress of Yuki and Ayame relationship in episode 3. I always liked the parallel of Yuki's gardening with Ayame sewing and the need to create something for themselves as a way to prove they are capable and needed. It shows that although they are pretty different in almost everything, they still understand and have a connection to each other. Episode 4 is a really good one. I love Haru and you can start to understand more about him in this one. A bit of a fun fact but Haru crafts his own accessories! It is really nice to see the development of Kyo's behavior towards Tohru but also, the rest of the cast. Even his interactions with Hana and Uo are more relaxed in comparison to how they were in the first season. You can clearly see how he is trying to improve himself and reflect on moving forward. A similar feeling with Yuki, fighting his fears, and going back to the State even though he hates there to support his friend. Pretty good combo reaction!

2023-11-23 11:37:58 +0000 UTCyou're right about a lot of the characters sounding older than they are in the dub! this is actually cuz they had all the 2001 cast come back to reprise their roles in the reboot! so a lot of them are a lot older. also fun fact, in the 2001 dub they had a real little boy play Hiro, but obviously he couldn't reprise that role as an adult man, so now he plays Manabe Kakeru in the dub! and he's actually one of the best dub actors in my opinion :D. i am much more of a fan of the sub but the dub has a lot of charm as well.
