I never said, that Tashigi is kuina herself. All I stated is, its a plot thread in the story, that will have some resolution at some point and connected to zoro in some way. Tashigi is not just a character to be created as smoker's lacky, their is a reason why oda is going to such lenghs to create these kinds of parallels to zoro. Oda's style has always been to write things in a very allorigical fashion with such ambiguity and I think this character arc deffinitly qualifies as that.

2024-10-31 06:25:11 +0000 UTCI disagree only because of three things: their birthdays are different, their dreams are different and Tashigi is waaaaaaay weaker than Zoro. That'd be a massive writing L if it was her. It would completely validate all of Kuina's insecurities and reveal that despite what her dad said, she wasn't able to "break down the walls" of female swordsmanship. I believe Tashigi is a character simply to both troll the fans and also to provide Zoro with a foil, someone he just can't deal with because of their similarities. I wholeheartedly believe that if Tashigi was meant to be Kuina, then they would have dropped such obvious hints. It's not Ida's writing style to give you the answers. He always drops subtle hints and let's you figure it out before a big reveal later on.

You guys have got good minds for this series. And good on you for catching onto the inherited will theme so early! Also something kinda cool to note is Oda originally planned for One Piece to be a lot shorter, so a lot of the answers to endgame mysteries are likely hidden in the first 300 episodes. Paying as much attention as you are will pay off greatly later in the series 💪 you're gonna have a ton of fun with speculation later

Let the viewers soak it up and have them theorize for as long as they need to. This is how we experienced one piece. Don't deprive them of that. I just want to mention, do you know how many times oda has completely disregarded stuff he has mentioned in SBS Q's and A's. Alot of that is also him just having fun with the community and even trolling to some degree. Well in any case this is my own personal stance on this. People can say im coping 100 times over, but I still to this day believe that Tashigi's gestures, personality, swordplay and appearance is no coincidence, we have seem time and time again where things are introduced in OP with subtlety and parallels that are usually pre-ordained early on and have some serous developments later in the story. So again, I have learned through years of experiences and the way oda writes his story that I am not going to confirm anything until its in the main story.

But yeah its basically 12 for the Saijō Ō Wazamono which are the most rarest supreme quality blades in the world and 21 for the Ō Wazamono for the great blades and the 50 Ryō Wazamono are the most common type.

Even the market guy who sold the swords has some clear understanding about the history of some extremely rare blades. You have to wonder if Gold Roger passed on this knowledge or that maybe the market dealer or the old guy in the bar were at some point in time infamous figures with dreams of their own who have braved the dangers of the grand line.

A lot of reactors brush off the sword-raking subplot which only becomes more relevant the more the story progresses. I'm sure other people said it, the next couple of episodes are anime canon that Oda approved, I wouldn't mind if you guys watched them especially if you're up to more crew shenanigans. just a random thought. For someone who looks so much like Kuina, Oda is evil for having Tashigi's entire gag tripping and falling frequently.

Wado Ichimonji (white) is one of the 21 Greats Yubashiri (black) is one of the 50 Skillfuls Sandai Kitetsu / Kitetsu III (red) is one of the many Grades.
