i think Tohru doesn't act very differently when it comes to Kyo and Yuki (at least for now) but i think the reason why Lindsay feels like Tohru is more relaxed around Kyo is because Kyo seems to be very perceptive of her feelings, more so than any other character. he's constantly noticing how she has something in her mind, how she has worries like everyone else but hides them, and because of this, Tohru opens up more with Kyo about her struggles and her feelings, which is why she seems more relaxed around Kyo. Tohru is constantly worrying about everyone around her but when it comes to of her own emotions and struggles, she hides them very well. i think it's interesting that the author wrote this love triangle and made it very ambiguous, i can totally see why people would root for either Kyo or Yuki (personally I've always been team Kyo, still love Yuki's character though)

I also noticed that it’s always Kyo who is asking her questions about herself and listens to her worries. So I get where Kyo x Tohru shippers come from, although at first i was rooting for Yuki (he is my fav)

It's so fascinating to see shoujo in the female mind vs the male mind, especially in terms of character analysis and shipping. Obviously a generalization but I've noticed a lot of the male reactors tend to ship Yuki x Tohru more, which is so interesting to me! Love the difference in the discussion, it adds such a cool perspective. Lindsay's noticing Tohru's relationship with Yuki as feeling developed only in big romantic moments but also underdeveloped is such a good analysis. I would say that Kyo and Tohru's development seems to have moved further along, not just because of their big moment at the end of season 1, but because of the small ones. Like Kyo being the first person Tohru opens up to about her anxieties about the future and being alone after graduation. And Tohru tends to be the "fixer" to many of the Zodiac members, but it seems like Kyo has been the one to ask her about her feelings, like when Tohru was trying to avoid talking about her mom a few eps back but he urged her to open up again. And when he was the only one in their house who cooked for her when she was sick and gave her a place to vent her feelings. but of course, I'm biased as a Kyo x Tohru shipper LOL

I am also on the TohruxKyo side of things mainly because she has talked of her personal concerns with him more than anyone else ( at her grandpa’s place in season one and in the somen episode and now when Hiro made that comment about always talking about her mom) and also because I feel their relationship is more developed while with the TohruxYuki, it feels like we see more of the development of his character, like he needs to settle his demons before any sort of romance can happen.

I understand your confusion and all the wild thoughts and theories at this point of the story because you can feel all the tension building up but no concrete evidence of anything. You are being fed a lot you just don't know with what yet. I appreciate your concern on some of the topics so far and it will be fun to see your reaction to when things get unfold. Very excited for the next couple of episodes. This has been fun, I saw the reaction was here and jumped like a little kid in excitement :D

Now that I am rewatching it, it's definitely interesting to watch, but I can understand that it's frustrating at first, since there isn't too much content to grasp your hands on and actually build thoughts about.
