About Luffy not using his ability to climb the mountain. Someone might have already told you guys or explained it before but just in case. The reason he couldn’t stretch and go up that mountain was bc he had Nami and Sanji on his back. Before Sanji passed out he said to make sure not to fight or do big movements bc it will affect Nami. So Luffy didn’t fight and he decided not to use his stretch ability. If he did that would have been big movements and he might’ve landed badly on top of the mountain. If he was alone he would have done that but for his friends he didn’t.
