2024-01-10 11:48:44 +0000 UTCyeah the re zero fans were a bit much. we has some minor misunderstandings, and were just kind of bored by the first half of season 2, and the response caused us a lot of stress. So we dropped it. Its not a terrible show, but to me its problems represent a lot of things I dislike commonly among shows. Might revisit it at some point, but not looking likely. I do LOVE the main series of steins gate, and want Lindsay to watch it on the channel with me at some point. But we probably wont be watching steins gate 0 cause its honestly, genuinely bad in comparison to the main show.

2024-01-10 07:50:43 +0000 UTC@Cilfer thanks for the info. I have yet to see S2, thats a shame its not quite up to the quality that Season 1 was. Well hopefully S3 will be better? In any case i still praise both of these shows based on their first series runs.

Though strangly one piece is not on there.

2024-01-09 12:33:56 +0000 UTCThey've already watched Re:Zero, and they're probably not gonna continue it because R:Z fans got mad they didn't like season 2 and it caused a bunch of drama at the time. Also I'm pretty sure Carson has already seen Steins;Gate

2024-01-09 12:03:56 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone else mentioned these but I personally would recommend you guys check out either "Steins;Gate" or "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World". Both are amazing shows and masterfully directed both in their stories and their production. They are also different from one another. One is a science fiction show dealing with the complex elements of time travel, but it’s told in a more grounded realistic fashion. The other is an isekai fantasy series which has very deep phycological character explorations and great world building. These series both have top tier animation and artwork by studio whitefox. They also have a continuing series and films to watch if you’re highly invested by the first season. I can't praise these shows enough. For Re:zero were getting a 3rd season now as well in 2024.
