Next few are filler, but you should watch the last few minutes of the red scorpion filler episode because it deals with Ace and itβs actually canon

2024-01-15 23:40:08 +0000 UTCAce is the best! Everybody loves Ace. Too cool to stay for long, sadly. Very interesting talk this time. Yeah, things are starting to get more complex here! Carson has a good point about the kings: I think you can see them as more like vassal lords, in a way. But that's also because "king" doesn't mean exactly the same in Japanese. Lindsey was really close to the truth with the water at Ermal, actually, in the manga it isn't a dried up canal, but the closeness to the sea that makes canals useless. The water is too salty. I really don't want to be negative, I just thought you might want to know: these episodes are nearly all filler, really. Luffy getting lost again, Ace Fighting Smoker, Ace and Luffy armwrestling and destroying the water barrel, Ace and Luffy fighting the billions, Ace coming along into the desert (in the manga he leaves after blowing up the BW ships), and about half the animal fights... It might be easier to list what's not filler, lol. The conversiontion about joining Whitebeard's crew is canon, though. Originally, Ace invites Luffy to Whitebeards crew when they're all on the Merry, in front of all the Strawhats, and extends the invitation to all of them. I didn't quite catch it here, but in addition to leaving three years earlier, he's also three years older than Luffy. Most of episode 96is canon, just not the Ace parts, and 97 again is nearly all filler. Oh, and everything except the very few last minutes of 101 is pure filler too, if you haven't already got there.
