Slight reminder, when Igaram got blown up, a dozen hands flashed on screen. So at least Ms. All-Sunday's powers were planned, but Oda used misdirection again to keep us off guard until this point. I don't see why that wouldn't also be the case for Crocodile's abilities, just my opinion.

2024-01-17 17:28:18 +0000 UTCIts hard to find people that will experience OP in the same place and time in the universe as you are carson and Linsey. We have 25+ years of context with this series so unfortantly OP fans can tend to over hype and expressively elaborate certain elements of the series even from you just watching the first few episodes. Its one of those things I just think is hard to avoid being a new fan. I would like for you guys to experience everything the way we did but some of that early romantiscm isn't possible, with a series that has been running for over 2 decades. How ever we should try and have some restraint in these situations and try to put our selfs in your time and place, in order for you to have the most blind experience possible.

I think it's one of those cases where his work is so revered that people really hold him in high regard. And while that's understandable, it's unfortunate it's made you cautious about diving into certain topics.π I'm sure most of them will be smoothed over by all your subsequent reactions and discussions. And rest assured many people appreciate your constructive criticism and analysis.

2024-01-17 02:31:53 +0000 UTCThis episode had showings of three different Devil Fruit powers all at once, the Zoan Bird Bird fruit, model Falcon, the Sand Sand fruit, and the Flower Flower fruit, all amazing ones but I gotta say, Miss All Sunday's powers are my favorite. For now, it's enough to take Smoker's words on what the sea prism stone is, a solid form of the sea itself, which is convenient against containing those with devil fruit powers. Carson's take about Miss All Sunday's power is on point, most of these powers feel like a magic trick, it's all about timing and taking chances before your opponent reads up all of your moves. Again, spot on about how Oda seems to tweak and change little details in his story as he goes on, and this also includes how he introduces his powers, for example, if you remember the first episode Buggy teased his power, we did not him detach, instead, it as more akin to some weird, trippy telekinesis ability that made his targeted float, but as it turns out, his hand was holding the guy up in the air and because it was masked, it appeared like an entirely other power. Also with Miss All Sunday here, the first time she interacted with the Straw Hats, she sort of magically disarmed them in what seemed like telekinesis, but now we get a clear vision of what she did back then. It's just how Oda writes I guess, he makes things ambiguous and then fills in the gaps as the story demands.

Pell was on October 2000 no way they copied each other i don't think. with the work schedule of mangakas i don't think they would have the chance. Currently you are on the story chapter that came out feb 2001. In the same day naruto was beating up the illusion ninjas that took all night in the chuning exams.

2024-01-16 09:02:40 +0000 UTCWhen Smoker said "not much is known about it" he sure as hell meant it. Sea prism stone doesn't get a word of description past this outside for other uses for it. Although Oda came out and said "it's too rare to be used as ammunition" I had totally forgot about that "only made in a certain sea" line till now. Carlson nice catch on All Sunday's power! Tons of people are in complete shock of the power of her ability and don't take a moment to take into account that those are her arms.
