I love that it is so chaotic and you don't know what was actually suppose to happen in that play since they are just themselves saying and doing whatever. The narrator is the MVP for sure haha And this episode also brings the realization of Tohru and Kyo about the possibility of each other's feelings. They both have so many emotional problems that they are in denial of this ever been true or possible, for multiple reasons. For Kyo, we know this and his perspective for a while. He loves her but is not willing to do anything since he knows his destiny is to be in a cage forever and he is resigned to that. Tohru has been in a turmoil for a while now and we are still just touching the surface about her. The end of this season so is close now. Super excited for the next ones. PS: Lindsey's hair looks so cute in this :),

2024-01-23 09:05:41 +0000 UTCI think the "I can't let myself think it" isn't only about them not believing that they like each other, but also that they both don't WANT to develop feelings for each other. Kyo is obviously very insecure and besides that, he has already almost given up on changing his fate of getting locked up. In that case he might even feel like he HAS to distance himself from Tohru, so that their eventual split up doesn't hurt as much. As for Tohru, we've also seen her be so surprised that her mom isn't the obvious answer to "what is the most important thing to you?" anymore. I always kind of thought that Tohru feels like she has to treat the memory of her mom like something precious, and that she shouldn't put something or someone above her. I think that's a big reason why she can't allow herself to like Kyo.
