it is shown! When akito calls out harus name, we see a shot of the curse rope.. and harus is about to turn around. that was meant to signify the curse pulling Haru back... when kureno talks to him, it snaps him out of it.

2024-02-18 00:52:07 +0000 UTCIt was cut from the anime, but in the manga it's shown if Kureno didn't tell Hatsuharu that Isuzu asked for him, he would've turned back around and returned to Akito's side. The short flashback to young Haru and Akito parellels directly to Hatori comforting Akito the first episode of this sesson.
