New subscriber, so catching up...So that isn't Machi's and Yuki's daughter. They only have a son together, who looks mostly like Yuki. Tohru and Kyou end up having three kids - the eldest son looks like Kyou, the second son looks like Tohru, and the daughter is unknown who she looks like more (we only see her from the back).

2024-06-04 22:42:20 +0000 UTCThe ending is really nice, and it’s comforting that the sequel manga shows that basically everyone has a close bond still. The cast of fruits basket never physically appear in the sequel, but you can tell how close they stayed with how close all their kids are so it’s super touching to know that even though their ‘eternal’ bonds broke, their actual bonds with each other last forever.

2024-04-18 04:50:57 +0000 UTCthe worst part about it is that "one aspect" could just be erased w/ no downside. it literally does nothing for the story and is just unnecessarily problematic. and it makes what could've been the most impactful part of the story almost unwatchable....

I love fruits basket with all my heart but there's some aspects of it I hate, specifically one thing in the movie that's actually so bad it triggers me
