2024-06-04 09:54:58 +0000 UTCWhat I and many others love about this arc is that it's Luffy's greatest test of his leadership. You hit the nail on the head with Robin. He's supposed to be her captain too. Even if he has no idea about Robin's motives and has no connection to her crime, he's still involved and responsible. Just like with Merry and Usopp, the way he responds to Robin's actions will define what kind of captain he really is.

2024-06-04 07:50:05 +0000 UTCFun fact: Franky's design calls back to Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey). Oda never drew Robin with blue eyes, AFAIK; it was an anime decision that stuck. On most colour spreads, you see her eyes are more of a brownish/hazel colour. The anime decided a few things for her before Oda showed her design in colour, which is also why her skin colour changes in the anime. It's not the only time people have made assumptions on character colours before Oda showed the final designs. Some of those resulted in hilarious "fail" tattoo stories. Cannot go into details since it would spoil something that is quite far along in the story.
