Plus he's so deranged that if he got the blue prints either from tom or iceberg, i fell like there was a high probability that he would try to use them for himself and not even give them to the WG.

2024-07-11 07:32:05 +0000 UTCwhat events that takes place later in my comment? first one was at episode 249 which is the reason why WG resorted to get the blueprints and use it to repel pirates... instead of Carson's point to not pester Iceburg since they have good relations with him. Second, they already seen Tom's backstory. Third, government agent(s) attempt to hand over the blueprints... we've seen one of them, the one who's good at sniffing pirates early in this arc.

2024-07-11 07:18:35 +0000 UTCPeople really need to chill with correcting their thought process, most of us watching these have over 800+ episodes of future context that they don't. Even if they say something that doesn't 100% line up with what has come before this point, its still possible that the story *could* have unfolded in a way different than it did. Even saying something to the effect of "You'll find out why what you're saying is wrong" defeats the purpose of them purposing ideas now, while they don't know everything. Let them cook and when it comes time for tasting they will figure out for themselves if they were right or wrong, no correction from all the commenter chefs needed. Correcting a misconception is obviously different but it is also important to let them speculate free of commenters trying to clarify information using events that takes place later in the story as reference.

Tom refused Spandam. Tom didn't even acknowledged that he have it. Presently, with Tom incident and Iceburg keep refusing government agents to hand over the blueprints, it's possible that Iceburg might not be on their side if ever the day comes they need to build one

But because of spandams greed, he made iceberg and galley la an enemy for himself to profit off of. If they knew iceberg had the plans, and were monitoring him anyway, then it doesnโt matter if they are literally in goverment hands or not. Because they know itโs not fallen into enemy hands. Tobin is a problem for sure in this line of thinking. But again, as long as they know where the plans are, then it doesnโt actually serve them to damage their relationship with water 7, given the other benefits
