When it comes to Barou and Shidou, their weapons, or at least when it comes to the concept of the "Zones" where their chances of scoring skyrocket, they are actually kind of just opposites. Barou's chances of scoring increase when he's around the outside edge of the box, where his precise shooting and physicality are at their strongest, but, since Shidou's weapon is his "extreme spacial awareness" when he's inside the box itself, naturally his chances of scoring will be much higher then. Some people also get a bit confused since when you hear the term "spatial awareness" in this show, you immediately think of Isagi, but the difference between him and Shidou, is that Shidou's weapon is just an extremely specialized version of Isagi's, meant for one purpose only, scoring, whereas Isagi's being more generalized helps him contribute in defense, attack, playmaking and scoring. Regardless, hope you guys have a good time with the rest of this season, from episode 10 and onwards the anime kicks into high gear and just doesn't stop. Expect the same style, but also quality of storytelling for the next arc of the series, Blue Lock really comes into its own and refines everything about its style from this match until the present chapters in the manga, if the anime manages to keep up the level of quality they found at the endpoint of this season, from episode 10 onwards, the next arc and season are going to blow away a lot of your expectations as to what this show can be.
