2025-01-16 17:16:51 +0000 UTCyeah the previous emperor was a disgusting mfπ and omg lindsay cookedπ this show touches a lot of heavy topics, when i first watched it it was a bit triggering ngl, but i love that they do it in such an organic/realistic and mature way. for example, you can see the difference in jinshi's approach to maomao after knowing she went through something that could be extremely traumatic for someone, i like little details like that in the narrative
