2025-03-12 05:38:37 +0000 UTCI have no idea if the previous peoples are meant to be related to real life or not, but China is famously an empire that went through many periods of breaking apart and reforming, always rebuilding on the ruins of the old with which ever new group took over sweeping in and adopting the old systems of government, both for practical and legitimacy reasons. Basically in the west, the nations spawned from Rome never managed to reform, and eventually they just gave up on the idea of one united empire, but in the east there has pretty much always been at least the IDEA of a consistent empire that always eventually gets put back together every time it gets destroyed.

Learned some good info, even for me in hindsight. Also, you put together some stuff I haven't seen/heard other reactors put together yet. The theories are always thoughtfully fun!
