Too bad Usopp wasn’t there to help Robin, but at least they had Sogeking to shoot down that flag.

Ok, I must say it. Moments, you probably dont remember but you need it to understand the whole picture about great kingdom in blank century.
First, Alabasta is part of the goverment, but poneglif is kept in the royal tomb, and knowledge of it is only passed down within the royal family, although they could easily just intrust it to the goverment.
Second, in skypia arc was said - Shandora (city of gold) was fallen 800 years ago, and the descendants (i.e. Calgara in the flashback, and Viper now) are protecting the area because they want to protect the poneglyph

You finally got here! These episodes are what really lend to a lot of OP fans saying "just get to Enies lobby" lol. Pretty wild to think about this point after the very beginning of the live action, isn't it? For that matter, when Miss All Sunday showed up could you have even thought this is where it would have gone?
I loved the point about Pirates being almost their entire own entity, and how "Pirates" in general declared war. Obviously Luffy and the Straw Hats will be the ones who committed the act and will see a direct response but they do kind of represent the capacity of what the pirate world is capable of.
Great video and discussion. Can't wait for the next few episodes.

Possibly my fav moment in OP. Maybe even my fav episode. For some reason, the line, "Take me to sea with you" just destroys me.
