I dont have to disagree with each point you make to make a counter point for one. You can be correct about the franky family while misrepresenting the galley LA situation. I can't know what you don't say. So when you ignore something I'm saying my only avenue is to repeat myself. I don't understand why you don't want to join the discord. You won't tell me. I would like to have better communication but it seems like you don't want that so I am left confused.

2024-08-15 11:39:08 +0000 UTC~ not manga spoilers but might skew anticapation~ They are not yet privy to the idea that OP can bring back characters into relevancy in meaningful ways. Since that has not really been shown in the story as of yet. We met arlong like how many episodes ago? Again, this is another reason why oda chooses not to kill characters early on because he deems them important enough to justify not writing them out which is another reason i personally can forgive the fact that many characters don't die. It is in my opinion much greater than the alternative where you have a recycling of new characters every arc. Oda of course has this with his lesser known characters, but he has conveyed natural progression and growth of major characters through his long form storytelling and OP would never be the same if it never did this. Oda has always said that if a character dies and you bring them back, in the future (IE naruto) then that character should not have died in the first place which further reinforces the idea that he finds the characters of his world to important and connected to consequential plot threads. This is a classic example of running into a dues ex machina where you end up with subplots that need resolution but can't find ways to resolve them such as reviving hashirama or itachi in naruto. I am sure once carson and linsey know this, they are going to look at "Death" from a very different point of view. I will most deffinitly bring this discussion up again once we reach the impel down arc.

Pell shouldβve died for sure no debate but I really donβt want The Franky family, Yokozuna and the Galley La people to die. This is one of those cases where Iβm fine with Oda saving them as long as it makes sense

Obviously, there are still many mysteries that remain, but slowly but surely, things will become even clearer, and the story only continues to expand even more. You guys went over it in a arc discussion video, but I think u guys are thinking that its sepearte to the story but its not, someone could send u all the sbs segments that are relevent to the story prior were u guys are to expand the discusion and the cover stories that are CANON
