2024-08-22 05:24:26 +0000 UTCIt's ok to try and fit "logic" into the story and to try and make sense of everything that is happening well, also having hindsight for the future, but I'll just say re-watching this story with 1000+ episodes of knowledge gives you an extreme different outlook on things. Were following along with you, but we pick up on things that you would never be able to ascertain this early. Which is why a lot of commenters on here feel the need to correct things based on your analysis, but of course we know a hell of a lot more than you do. There is a reason the story feels very alligorical, and resulting character arcs are just left up in the air for your own interpretation as to what will happen or become of that character or plot thread. I also am starting to sense a little bit of doubt or concern in how you view this series, or, i guess, "fear."? that things might not end up right? Well, it's fine to have that pessimism as well, but rest assured, Oda knows what he is doing, and you're getting closer and closer to the core of the OP story.

Its more like one of my "top 5 favorite moments" in the whole series and thats saying something for me, who doesn't consider ennies lobby to be all that great as many other arcs in this series.

I love your reactions a lot and how Carson is not afraid to critique aspects of the story. It's refreshing. I'm going to continue to be active in the comments and my presence will be here throughout the journey. I will take any negative comments in stride. This was my main point - not having to feel afraid of openly expressing my thoughts and being immediately shut down by people.

Since the Merry was deemed to no longer be able to continue on the journey Usopp took that as his time to depart from the crew as well. So the line where Luffy is thanking Merry, saying "I never thought you'd come, but when I think about it, You've always protected us. I'm so glad that you're our friend." as it pans to Usopp its like Luffy is saying those things about Usopp too even though he cant directly say it to him because they had a falling out. When Usopp first appeared on the bridge and Luffy said "So you came?" it mirrors the "I never thought you'd come" part. Luffy doesn't realize it but even as Sogeking, Usopp was protecting them all through Enies Lobby. That part is reflected in the "when I think about it, You've always protected us.". The " I'm so glad that you're our friend." part Is something we clearly know to be true between the two of them but it is especially made clear by how hard Luffy takes the news of having to get a new ship as well as losing Usopp.

I feel like those people need to chill much more than I do. I recieved foul comments from JojoJack concerning my race and ethnicity. You blocked him, yes, but i hoped i would have been shown more compassion from others. Instead certain people are still trying to deform my character. Its good to question things and want the things you consume to make sense...PLUS theyre watching it blind, theyre just what they currently see... of course we have a different perspective since we have rose colored glasses for most of One Piece and we already know the hindsight...if anything he is expecting things to make sense coz he is seeing the story is great and wanting it to not be butchered.

Pressuring them to upload episodes in bulk is what's causing them to miss their schedule...they have lives outside of this channel and we dont know they might be missing sleep just to keep up with it....watching episodes consecutively doesnt really affect a reactor/viewers' digestion of the episode, its their energy level, if they dont have energy for it, they would not be able to really focus on what they watch...ill prioritize them getting rest and fixing the time management so they can also rest properly

2024-08-21 22:21:22 +0000 UTCAnother Sanji Mastermind W I love how Oda exploits how he's lowkey unrecognized to make him execute stealth missions If you noticed in the Alabasta saga Sanji is always purposefully put away from fights against Baroque Works agents until Alabasta In Whiskey Peak he was sleeping while Zoro was already identified as the one who defeated 100 bounty hunters and mr 1 by the end of Alabasta Sanji didn't fight either in Little Garden as he was busy duping Mr0 and get the Eternal Pose When they first met mr2 he was inside cooking The only arc he's more prominent is Drum and there's no Baroque Works involved. Then we get the Masterclass that is Mr Prince And he did a bit of the same in Skypiea with damaging the Maxim forcing Enel to change his propulsion to Jet dials slowing him down, before sacrificing Then we get an entire Train infiltration and then him sabotaging the gates of Justice after noticing the whirlpools disappearing. The Goat that goes under the radars🔥🔥🔥

2024-08-21 21:57:35 +0000 UTCLindsey's 100% right about the Davy Back Fight callback Usopp used an impact dial on the barrel boat to get out of a whirlpool and fly away This is the type of full circle moment that make me love One piece so much Like in the Skypiea's Saga we met giant shadows before knowing why they exist and how Luffy did the same thing This saga also starts with a threat against the crew's stability, as we see that even a game like Davy Back Fight can't break them While still challenging their bond It also teases us with the threat that if the crew is to fail it'll come from the inside. Aokiji warning them that Robin will destroy the crew from within And the Usopp Merry matter on top of that And it all culminates in this arc where the crew is solidified as one against the whole world if it means saving one nakama. Even the Merry accomplished the Impossible. The Galley La shipwrights were adamant that the Merry is absolutely unable to reach the Next Island and yet❤️ I love this story😭❤️

They give nice little updates on side characters (and some of them tie into the main story at some point). Plus, they even answer some of your questions (for example the wings on the people that lived on Jaya). If you want I can give you a list of the cover stories that you can read at this point in the story.
