For those saying the rifle looks too short, the OTs-03 SVU, a bullpup variant of the venerated SVD, uses a similar design. Like I said, better a surplus than a deficit. I also think they wouldn't do well against Seal Team VI. ;0P Looks great, though.

I know nothing about guns, but as long as the weapon serves it's intended purpose it doesn't really matter what it looks like.I mean, that's just my humble opinion 😉

Awesome pic. Thanks for using my idea. Joshua Stewart hit all of the problems so.... As for the rifle itself, I've been military and firearms enthusiast for long enough that I can honestly say: "That rifle doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with." Since it isn't a specific model, there are no hack errors to nitpick. As for their gear, maybe that was all they could afford... As for their exposed position, maybe it's the only angle they had where they could get off a shot and still be able to make a clean exit afterward.

I want you to know, I am a huge fan of your comic, your characters, and I adore your story and love watching your art improve on the updates. That being said, I am going to ..educate you on what is wrong with this picture from the stand point of a United States Marine. Please take it only as instruction, not mean spirited in the slightest. They're to exposed, they'd be easily spotted and counter sniped, or other wise dealt with. The rifle looks a bit to short, but for shortening is a bitch right? They would need to have something over them, bushes or such to block their head shapes. The Rifle is poking out of the hide, that gets you killed, Think of it like a window and a room, never poke your weapon through the window, always shoot from inside "the room" Nat would need a spotters scope to properly spot for Zen, Spotters scopes have a single scope with the same aiming recital as the sniper is using but beefed up to allow the spotter to tell the shooter where to adjust if the shot misses. Otherwise, Nat should have a rifle as well for a followup shot, not only if Zen misses, but getting shot twice at the same time ..or two targets getting hit at once, is a 'common' special forces tactic. Assassins would probs be like special forces. Zen is gonna smack the hell out of his face holding it that close to the rifle. Anthros would probably need Scopes with longer "Eye relief". In other words, face and eye not so close to scope for sight picture. Misses Nibs is totally gonna knife gank them for the 1337 hax0rz ski11z.
