2024-08-26 01:10:42 +0000 UTCI think what he's saying is that youre giving the reactors information of what the next episodes entail...which is fair to say, its like giving reactors an expectation, and it "technically" counts as a spoiler....i personally dont like people saying "next episode, it will be emotional" or some shit like that because it might pressure the reactors to react more than they genuinely felt because they were told to preemptively....its basically when you watch with someone who watched it beforehand and they keep on tapping your shoulder like "hey hey hey, pay attention to THIS SCENE, this is important..pay attention"...its just overtly annoying imo

One of the reasons I don't paticulary like the approach to the live action is it made garp to be this sort of character where his entire objective/goals is just to go pursue luffy but in oda's story Garp is a more significant character in the story and his presence is felt more large scale, of course you don't see this yet in the anime, but its obvous by how he only shown up after 300 episodes. I feel thats something that was kind of lost in the live action. Like carson said, it kind of has that one track plot line. Where as oda's world is not just about the MC, its much larger in scale and so many things are simultaniously taking place.

2024-08-25 11:48:53 +0000 UTCEven though the pirates seem to be the good guys and the marines as the bad guys, the story dosnt follow this generic good side bad side, pirates have something called freedom, and how they use their freedom will tell you if they're bad or good. So does the marine with their sense of justice like Aokiji and Sakazuki in robins flashback both of them have a different sense of justice that tells u a lot about their characters, even Saul (not every marine is a bad person, and not all pirates are good) Thats why marines work well when they stop the bad pirates. However, the world government puts a bounty on all pirates, good or bad, giving the Marines bad judgement about those pirates, making them unsure if they want to catch them or not. that's why they would follow their own sense of justice and choose what they want to do: help them or catch them, like Taishi in alabaster and aokiji letting Robin go. The marines are only the military of the word government
