But the majority of One Piece filler is either well done like these 3 episodes or it fits One Piece's vibe so well that it might as well be part of the adventure. I get that there are parts that people want them to get to, but they are going to get to them all given time. It doesn't make sense to take away episodes they could be enjoying in the interest of getting to peoples favorite parts a few days quicker when we're talking about a timescale of months/years. Especially now when they're feeling burnt out in general I don't think we should be trying to take away things that they can enjoy without having to think too hard.

I feel like one of the reasons might be also bcuz ppl love food, especially anime food and enjoy watching someone cook with such passion like Sanji. Another one filler similar to this that u might've missed is episode 133 "Inherited Recipe! Sanji the Curry Iron Chef", it was right after Alabasta. It was in the batch of fillers along with that one that u watched where Robin and Chopper had a wholesome episode interaction. Highly recommend it even if u watch it on ur own time.

2024-08-30 00:39:50 +0000 UTCI just looked at the manga and the part that isn't filler is the part with Usopp trying to come up with stuff to say to the crew. in the manga It goes directly from Luffy asking Nami for spending money (and the shot of him with bruises is a 1:1 with the manga) in 316 and then it has a single panel of each Strawhat shopping, Zoro at the sword shop, Luffy and Chopper getting candy together, Robin and Nami looking at clothes and Sanji getting food, then Sanji sees Usopp and we get a page of him talking to himself. Then it cuts to the silhouette of Toms workers working on the ship with Kokoro and Yokozuna in the foreground. The guy that you said looks like a spring onion is in the panel with Sanji buying stuff which I thought was funny XD I personally look at the aqua laguna salt stuff as canon material because it doesn't really hurt anything to think that way. Sometimes the filler cooks and when it only adds to the world like it does here I don't think its too bad to just take it as canon material.

2024-08-30 00:09:11 +0000 UTCLove how they use the setting to the best effect when it comes to filler Sanji Filler is always great His character has a wide range from simple goofus to a badass fighter And when you think about it, a cook has to satisfy every one he serves meaning he has to make meals that are suited to each person, so he has to be quite attached to each of them to cook them personalized meal they'll enjoy at all times. Oda even answered an SBS about their favorite foods Luffy: ALL MEAT! Zoro: White rice, Neptunian meat, anything that goes well with alcohol. Nami: Tangerines, fruits in general. Usopp(I mean SOGEKING): Sauries from the Autumn Islands. He loves fish that are in season. Sanji: Spicy Seafood pasta, anything that goes well with tea. Chopper: Cotton Candy, Chocolate, Sweets in general. (In the Davy Back Fight, he absolutely loved Cotton Candy, and my headcanon is because it reminds him of Sakura blossom🌸🩷) Robin: Sandwiches, cake that isn't too sweet, anything that goes well with coffee. Oda: Goes through phases. Likes beef with green peppers (when he answered that SBS)
