2024-09-01 01:26:17 +0000 UTCThe fact that Kokoro is a fish person (mermaid) also kinda explains the reason behind how Chimney, an 8-year-old, was able to save Luffy from water previously of this arc. Oda confirmed this since she is 1/4 of Mermaid. And sometimes, Oda did/do give the answer in the SBS(reader question section) of the Manga volume if someone asked the question and he picked the question you want to know to answer...

I think her wacky looking feet are slightly shown early in Water 7, but I don't think there's any clues to her mermaidness other than the assumption of her being with a Fishman.
