How does Aang know that the fire nation defeated them by ambush, when he ran away before the fire nation attacked? That part always confused me. Also, I just watched some interviews from the official avatar youtube channel with the composer Jeremy Zuckerman. Really interesting hearing about the creation of such an iconic soundtrack, highly recommended :)

2024-08-30 21:16:27 +0000 UTCI like the way they humanized the fire nation in this episode. The kids are being presented as simpy that, kids. They just under go allot of propaganda and they grow up with a certin world view. Its nice to see Aang lift their spirits by showing them what it means to have fun. Also this is one of those episode has just so many great comedic moments. One of the strong features that this show has that I feel like sometimes doesn't get mentioned enough. Its never too cynnical or cheap jokes, its always very wholesome humor disguised as very kid friendly yet its often very clever, smart jokes that anyone can enjoy.
