It is basically like our planet Earth. You have the Equater, which in the OP World is like the Grandline with two adjacent strips of sea running parallel to that boder of water, which is the calm belt, and this runs horizontally around the globe with the red line running perpendicular or vertically to the grandline. There is also a split at the center of the redline where all the 4 oceans converge; This place is known as Reverse mountain and this is how the straw hats sail up the redline from the east blue and down into the grandline sea. In order to circumnavigate the whole globe, the straw hats must cross the Redline twice to end up where they began their journey, on the other side of the redline.
If one had the capabilties to climb over the top of the redline, you would be right in the new world. So here is an image that is in 3D that kind of illustrates this and doesn't reveal too much. Hopefully this helps.

But I‘m pretty sure that Jacob would be down for it! 😁

You are correct Carson they did pass the redline already at reverse mountain. But you have to pass the red line twice to completely circumnavigate the globe in One Piece

As far CP9 being a secret, I think you have to remember how separated all these islands and countries are. Outside of the Grand Line, devil fruits themselves are considered a legend in a lot of places. Water 7 has direct tie-ins with CP9 through Tom's death, Iceberg being targeted, several members being undercover there.... I think if there is a place that is going to make them seem not secretive, it's going to be water 7.

I really hope the Live Action does some super cheesy Tokusatsu bit for Sogeking, but I doubt that will happen.
