How one can skip any episode of Avatar is beyond me if I can be honest. xD I mean no offense of course. I just feel like even the not the most main story driven episodes of this show are above and beyond in terms of quality when you compare them to what you could consider actual "filler" from other shows that just artificially keep the series going because of logistical/schedule reasons and stuff like that. But thats just how I look at it. I'm also just a massive Avatar lover so I'm probably a bit biased aswell. Also this episode has one of Katara's best lines in the show in my opinion which is “No! I will never, ever turn my back on people who need me...”.

I mean, I guess, but there’s a lot of character development for Katara, and her and Sokka’s relationship, as well as so many funny moments. I always enjoyed this episode. To me, it would be like skipping the “trying to see Kakashi’s face” in Naruto filler episodes, they’re so funny. Or, the Kakashi and Itachi anbu filler arcs. Yeah, some of the Kakashi anbu arc you can skip, but still.
