Luffy and his romance for armored fighters, or Usopp and his fight with the crew and the Merry or just an old injured guy with bandages telling his story.

2024-09-24 03:52:25 +0000 UTCI'm glad you're enjoying yourselves! Thriller Bark is up there with Skypiea as one of the more controversial arcs among fans, for some reason. A lot of people apparently think it's "boring" and since we don't get any humongous plot revelations that change our understanding of the world or anything or deepen our bond with certain characters like we do in other arcs, it's seen as "acceptable" for people to skip. I personally love it, though! Moria definitely isn't my favorite Warlord (that's probably guys like Crocodile or Doflamingo) but his power is super cool, and I don't know how anybody who loves spooky stuff could dislike this arc because the vibe is immaculate. It's like Lindsay said a few episodes ago, it's like a goofier Scooby Doo: Zombie Island. The timing worked out really well for you guys to be covering this in September-October.
