Even when paku handed Katara the water of special healing, we don't see much use of it until it is needed the most. Increasing the shock factor even if we have some clue of what will happen. Avatar is good at building it's timeline that way, where things done will come back around to reward

2024-10-12 23:12:20 +0000 UTCThere’s an incredible Toph live action fan film on Youtube, you’ll find it easily, about Toph running away and meeting the badgermoles, you should react to it after finishing ATLA. Also, in typical Anime fashion, at least good Anime, you can’t mention something, without seeing it at some point, like Zuko deflecting Ozai’s lightning, or the mentioning of dragons, and then we see them, which isn’t really a surprise, but it’s still so cool when it happens.
