One Piece Episode 373 UNCUT REACTION!

Comments

I love the character because theres so many themes of horror throughout the arc, and the silly villian who presents himself in a goofy as hell way, having his feet up on a literal island of toys, happens to share the shock of PTSD. He could have played it in such a more evil way, not caring to keep them alive in the tortured life without sunlight, but because he's been living the Luffy's dream type life the crew doesn't actually face the kind of horror he could have forced.

Shadow Asgard is one of my favorite powerups solely for the vie and setting, makes him feel like a goofy Bloodborne boss.

Yeah there were 900-ish active Zombies (minus the ones purified or put into Luffy) but an additional 500 ones in the Spider Mice Unit (the little kidnappers commanded by the Spider Monkey), which were numbered differently: S0 - S499 - Perona's Wild Zombies: 0-199 - Painting Surprise Zombies: 200-399 - Absalom's Soldier Zombies: 400-799 - Absalom's General Zombies: 800-899 - Special Zombie: 900 (Oars – the Continent-Puller)

I am a Moria apologist and it’s mostly because of this episode. First of all because his voice actor absolutely killed it! But also because at some point in the past Moria was a cool upstart pirate with his badass crew on there own one piece adventure; but they got wiped out presumably in the new world and that broke him. He’s now like a jaded pirate middle manager who’s taking out how sad his life is on the young people who still have hope. I don’t love him as a scary villain but pure writing wise I really like his character.

For your interrogation about the numbered Zombies, you have to remember Oars isn't the latest Zombie, he's been prepared for a while to receive a suitable shadow, meanwhile others Zombies were made/replaced. This SBS question also refers to the base system of the zombies. "Q: Hello, Oda-sensei!! This is the first time I've ever sent you a letter! On p. 161 of Volume 46, the chapter titled "Moria", there is a zombie with the number 767. And yet, on p. 173 of the chapter titled "The Mysterious Four of Thriller Bark", the zombie in Hogback's lab says 741. Why is that? Did you... MAKE A MISTAKE?! Give me a serious answer!! - P.N. Snowdrop from the Drum Kingdom Oda: You really pay attention to detail! So what you're asking is, why is the zombie just being created given a lower number? As a matter of fact, it makes perfect sense. This is because zombies get purified all the time, leaving empty numbers behind. Since zombies are constantly being lost when their shadow owners die, intruders purify them with salt, or Moria simply uses them like disposable pawns, the newer zombies must be created to fill those holes in the numbering order. So it is quite often that zombies with lower numbers are created. You also might be interested, though it's of no real consequence, to learn these specific number ranges. Wild Zombies: 0-199 Surprise Zombies: 200-399 Soldier Zombies: 400-799 General Zombies: 800-899 Special Zombie: 900 The zombie army is maintained by filling in the empty ranks according to this chart. " Also reminder that the mice spiders alone consitute like over 500 shadows numbered S-XX1, S-XX2, etc. And with new Zombies added we can see why Moria had over a 1000 at his disposal to use Shadows Asgard.
