Spoilers without context are hardly worth crying over. If you really think small foreshadowed little jokes like that are stupid, then you have a problem with Odas writing and the way he answers SBS's

@ Mo Za No, its not; I'm a weekly reader, and I never see the "nothing happened" being used in the future story by manga readers.
It's only a joke that is referencing this arc of the story, that's all. It's over; time to turn the page on this, and it should not be re-used anymore for any kind of future allusions in the story.

There are two camps:
People who make these types of jokes, poking fun at the fact they they have knowledge that the person catching up doesn't
and
People like myself and several other regular commenters here who dislike these kinds of spoilers that are thinly veiled as jokes.
I don't know which group is larger in the overall fandom, though I can take a guess. I do wish that as a community we could seek to erase these types of allusions, at least from the Patreon comment section.

The way we "nothing happened" you this arc is exactly that feeling for those of us who follow one piece weekly. It's a meme passed down from oda to those still catching up.

Yes kuma has a devil fruit, no his robot/cyborg parts don’t have anything to do with him repelling air or any other objects.
And how are they so good at predicting things for this show it’s crazy sometimes lol

Oh this was a good one, Carlson yelling "WTF" and a literal gasp out of Lindsey, gold. Also managing to snipe seriously tiny remark between this episode and the last one that in like... 200 episodes from now you'll be all "ah-ha see" about. What a nice way to end the Halloween season.
I definitely suggest looking at the original manga panel for Moria's and Kuma's confrontation, the extremely expressive Ying-Yang between them is a real nice metaphor with the world of cyborgs, shadows, and souls.

The pacing is very off so far in the remaster

"These people want us to watch their show and they keep saying every arc is shit!" This is crazy accurate representation of the fandom lol

I recommended better watch the original rather than the remastered.

Also to add to what Ty says, watching the series with animation styles and effects that we would not see until the 900's and then reverting back to oridinary animation during that time, might feel some what jaring and inconsistent to first time watchers that are experiencing the gradual evolution of the animation series.

its too early to say. After watching the first episode I would not recommend to first time watchers but maybe it will get better. Also it isnt a remake its a remaster

Unrelated question currently there is a remake being done for an ark you have not reached yet , they will take it from around 60 episodes to 21, by the time you reach it the remake of it will definitely be complete, so the question is will you be reacting to the remake or the original.... or both?

i get that this was not the case, but the "do one piece fans like one piece" sentiment is way too real sometimes
