In another life, Trace saves Laura's life, despite the consequences. Suggested by TheGamakazi.

Maybe the same could be said for Maeve. In the end, Trace was only able to save ONE person out of those three. But now I think there are hundreds and/or thousands more out there who need saving. Obviously, Trace won't be able to save them all overnight. And some of them may want to be saved by someone OTHER than Trace...

Natani lived because of Laura dying. A life for a life. Trace saving Laura would have possibly doomed natani after she fell into a coma.

Brahn and his daughter will definitively be forces to recon with. Clovis will be a threat to Natani but I feel he is more of a pawn that will be dealt with or converted away from evil within time.

It would more than be an AU comic wise. If you are talking about a sketch suggestion Trace would probably be murdering Natani or it would be him killing others while Keith and Laura relax.

But what of Maeve? Would she have to take Laura's place in this timeline? @_@ Regardless, I gain a dreaded sense of foreboding with this image...Although it may not be Trace who gets corrupted with dark magic in the end. Brahn and Clovis are looking pretty close themselves.

Dang, so sad. Lose-lose scenario for Keith: lose his fiancé of 6 years or watch his new BFF turn dark again and more than likely head home and destroy the world. I like how you can see Keith is a mix of overjoyed for Laura and concerned for Trace. Great suggestion and sketch!!!

At this point I am pretty sure she was pushing 20 years old, the death number for kedrian. My guess is that she dies on the boat ride home and Keith now has a dead Laura and comatose Natani on his hands at the same time.
