You know, this actually makes sense. I mean she is one of the more(most) powerful beings on the world. So, her wanting to be submissive/forced into something makes sense. With Trace being one of the most powerful mortals and, at least before the tragedy stuck, nice person it makes sense in this regard that she secretly wants to submit to him.
