It's got political machinations, explorations of the nature of the force and the dark side, Palpatine's origins and his rise to power (he was like a trust fund baby with contrarian politics to his father). It also does a shit load of set up for episode one and ties into a lot of other books and comics from that time.

Maybe this isn't the most original, but Inquisitors already are basically assassins in black jumpers, so why not just have a guy who simply is a ninja. smoke pellets, maybe shuriken? here's the kicker, though: a lightsaber kusarigama. a short-bladed lightsaber hilt with a long lenth of chain hooked to it, then at the end of that chain? a miniature spinning hilt like the inquisitor sabers. Satisfyingly animating the chain while it's flailing about is one thing; doing so while there's an active propellor on the end? that's gonna be a huge chunk of this year's budget.

The landspeeder in ANH is his "work vehicle" if anything
