Tags? How the hell does that work!

I've been up since 3am trying to figure out how to add tags to these post so that you have an easier time to navigate to specific content... however, I'm either very computer illiterate, or Patreon's online guide is incomplete... but either way, I can't seem to add any...
So! I guess I'm asking for your help community! Can anyone give me a quick step by step process to add tags? Every time I've tried, it simply saves the post and then... nuthin. :( No tags updated or added...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've contacted Patreon for help, but they haven't gotten back to me yet... so I thought I'd ask you guys :D
