File Corruptioin

I just wanted to let you know that the next page is going to be a couple days more, because my stupid $3000 wacom cintiq that has NEVER worked correctly just decided to shut off and when I started it back, my file was corrupted.... that's 12 hours of drawing GONE!!! FUCK IM ANGRY!!! I swear to god! If you're going to make a product, and charge that much for it, it better fucking work! And when i tried to return it or exchange it they (Wacom) gave the run around until my warranty was up, and then said... 'oh sorry, cant help you anymore!'
Does anyone have any suggestions to alternatives to wacom and their rip off schemes! Also, brought it to a repair shop locally and when they opened it up they told me that the parts are so sub par that they wouldnt order new ones because they wouldn't, in good conscience, sell me parts they couldn't guarantee would even work.
Sorry for the rant everyone... Im just stretch thin at the moment, and losing 12 hours worth of work means at least one all nighter to recover that lost time... what an absolute kick to the dick!

Wowee that’s gotta be the worst doing all of that saving and dealing with all the interruptions. I hope you can get your hands on something better soon, can’t wait to see more of your work pop up in my notifications it always makes my day. Just got back from that larger town, and there was nothing there, so no new tablet to draw on 😞 So I’ll be drawing with my old broken system that keeps turning off anywhere from 5-20mins, but I’m just gonna have to do some creative saving (just save a new file everything 10 mins or so, so when it does crash and if it does corrupt the file, at least I’ll have a backup that’s no older than 10 minutes and I won’t have to redraw the whole thing again!) ok wish me luck!

If you find a device that works well and you might recommend I would love to know. I’m still in the Phil at the moment, so what im doing right now is laying back, and watching the sunset through the palm trees, taking deep breaths every few minutes to calm the stress lol! Also, just an update: the whole system is dead... I’m messaging from my phone right now. So I have to go to a larger city in a couple of days to to buy a new unit... boners 😞 So it’s gonna be even a few more days before I get the next page out. Sorry everyone! I was killin it too!
