New update to my situation

Ok! So as you know I’ve been stuck here in the Philippines. But the situation has gotten even more stressful. My mother has leukaemia and has had 3 infections so far in the last month because of it. It’s not Covid, we know, because she’s on antibiotics which doesn’t do anything for viruses. She’s better now, but only for the last couple of days. It’s been pretty stressful watching her shiver in 30+ degree weather (that’s 86 degrees F for my American friends). So I’ve been spending most of my time just sitting with her and getting her whatever she needs, so I haven’t been able to draw much in the last week. She is ok now. But it’s super scary being in a 3rd world country where the healthcare here is like witchcraft still! Also, if her temp goes up at all in the next 2 days, they won’t let us on the flight, so again, stressed!

But! There is hope! We have just been in contact with our embassy, and there is a flight we can catch in 2 days to go home back to Canada. So we are scrambling to get a medical pass then a transit pass to get up island to the local airport. But in 2 days I could be back home.

What that means, is that I won’t be able to draw any pages for at least the next 4 days. Thank you all for your support, and I understand if you wish to pull you pledges until I am producing again. But I want assure you that I will be back at it by the end of next week at the latest!
