More experiments with Rive, this time featuring my OC Rihanne!

While making the Fawn animation, I realised that if I approached things differently, I could easily make a bunch of animations from one project file. This belly dancing animation was an attempt to try out this "different" way.

And while it does allow me to produce many variations of animations from a core set of movements, it's not as interesting as having a story idea and making animations that tell that story, even if the story is as simple as "before and after" animations. So while I was able to make this set of gifs for Rihanne, and could make many more for Rihanne, I don't think it's interesting enough to do for every Rive project.

That said, this was a great learning experience, and I made five different gifs from one file, so I would say it was a success. However, the next animation, I'll keep to something simpler, or more linear. I've included some "slo-mo" versions of the gifs, because that's very easy to just toggle on and off.

That's enough outta me. Time for a quickie break, and then onto finishing up Fawn's "Pregnancy Contest" animation. TTFN!
