September Week 1 - Update

Dear Sugar Service Players,

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Sugar Service Version 0.05A (Alpha), scheduled for October 3rd. Before we delve into the exciting changes and additions in this new update, we'd like to remind you that the previous version, 0.04B, featured the biggest update yet. If you haven't had a chance to experience it, we highly recommend giving it a try.

Now, let's talk about what you can expect from Version 0.05A. Our primary focus for this update is on enhancing game balance, improving overall polish, and further developing the storyline. We're pleased to inform you that the integration of Lilith and Willow into the game is complete, and they will be the last camgirls to join until Chapter 2.

Speaking of Chapter 2, the gang will soon outgrow their current apartment and move into a larger space with more rooms. This expansion will open up opportunities to hire more camgirls. However, until Chapter 2 is released, the next romanceable characters will be VIP Clients. Chapter 2 is still quite a while away so don't get your hopes up too soon.

Before releasing Version 0.04B, we took the time to play through the game without cheats, immersing ourselves in the player experience. This allowed us to gain valuable insights into the game's balance and progression. As a result, we've made several adjustments:

Easier Progression: We've made it almost 2x easier to trigger the next chapter as you dive deeper into the characters' stories and run out of gifts to give.
Deck Manager Upgrade: The deck manager has received a handy upgrade with a 'card type' filtering system and a quicksell toggle. This feature allows you to easily click-sell items in your inventory without the need to put them in your deck first.
Experience Points for Selling: Now, selling cards will grant you experience points (EXP), aiding your leveling progression and making it more rewarding.
Increased Date Rewards: Every date win will now grant 2x consumables without the possibility of getting nothing. We felt this change was necessary to make consumables more accessible and usable without fear of wasting them.

We're also excited to introduce a new feature in Version 0.05A—the Stock App. This app will allow you to invest in fictional stocks that will change in value, adding an extra layer of depth to your gaming experience.
