By your own logic you shouldn't have had mercy for the cub of a competitor species that views you as prey, nor should have Africa taken in Mondo. Or is it okay because you are all predators? In any case, you can't be mad at the boy for being confused when both you AND his bio mom have shown mercy to species you shouldn't going purely from a survivalist standpoint. It's a very interesting scene here, because on one hand yes, Bibi does have a point. But on the other the only reason Mosi is even ALIVE right now is because of her, because she decided to help a cub pure instinct would have had her kill ( both so he didn't grow up and pose a threat to her and any kittens she may have in the future and to cut down on competition for prey ). Africa's done the same, and even befriended herbivorous prey ( Nadira I think was her name? Hope I didn't confuse her with Paa's gf ). Of course Bibi would not know about the latter, probably, but someone definitely needs to sit down with Mosi and have a talk with him about when, where, how, and under what circumstances mercy is okay. Bibi is being practical here, but in this instance I'm more on Mosi's side. Neither of them look like they are starving just yet. They could have afforded to be merciful in this one instance, and it would have helped them in the longrun because the babies surviving means more springhare prey in the future.
