Given that she didn't think to look down it seems she hasn't had much if any interaction with men for a long time which fits with the previous two pages. Of course, given that he's roughly the size of her big toe I can't help but think he seems a bit crazy. I notice in the second panel the goddess is playing with her hair. I wonder if that's a physical signal that she's nervous. Like how some people will rub their hands together.
