November Week 1 - Update

What's up!

We hope you're all doing well and that you're as excited as we are for the upcoming release of Sugar Service Version 0.06A, set to drop on December 3rd.

Our focus for this alpha version is to improve on existing features and include new features and new rpg/adventure content.

The Date System

One of the major highlights of this update is the Date System. As an escort talent, you'll have the opportunity to take your VIP clients on dates to various locations in the city. These dates will serve to increase their Client Level, akin to the mechanics you use to level up Camgirls.

These interactions will be short, concise, and results will be dependent on your character's stats and clothing choices. As you boost your clients' levels, you'll unlock a treasure trove of new h-scenes and wardrobe items. It's all about providing a unique and personalized experience.

We're considering moving the Camgirls' 'invest' system to the new date system as well as we feel 'investing' into them by simply spending money isn't interesting enough and doesn't really make sense when it comes to creating a stronger bond that comes with unlocking new scenes.

Another reason is because we feel it be unbalanced that taking clients on dates not only contribute to levelling them up but also provides mini story elements to the gameplay. Whilst camgirls, where it wouldn't be necessary, it'd be something that doesn't incentivize players to spend time with said-camgirl characters. On the other hand, investing in camgirls feel very easy and straightforward whilst going on dates will feel like a grind in comparison. So I feel it best to have both classes on even ground in that regard.

And lastly, it'll entice players to be out of the house more often which makes the game feel less claustrophobic since a lot of the game takes place inside the apartment.

Revamped GPS/Map Interface

We've also going to update the GPS/Map interface. We're shifting to a landscape-oriented view, which not only looks more appealing but also gives us the space to incorporate a variety of exciting locations for you to explore. This enhancement is designed for long-term planning as the game grows, more locations will be added.

This was something that I had in mind for a while but it's pretty much needed with the addition of the dating system.

New Exterior Locations

We're gonna be adding new exterior locations as well, mainly for dates and any future storylines we want a new setting for. We're introducing a wealth of captivating spots for you to visit and take dates to. This expansion is all about enriching the world, providing you with a more diverse and engaging gameplay experience.

The Bigger Picture: Main Story Expansion

We're contemplating the introduction of a rival competitor, drawing inspiration from the Yakuza series and its cabaret storyline with different business owners (if you're familiar with it). This competitor will be your adversary, challenging you to become the top escort service in town. We believe it will add an extra layer of depth to the game, motivating you to strategically grow your business and achieve new heights besides doing it for the dating-sim side of the game.
