The Steam release of the latest FLSM version will go live soon, so if you're waiting on that it's almost here. In the meantime if you are on Steam and want to try it now, it's in the beta stream. Check out the forum post there on Steam for info on how to use it.
I got a new Oculus controller recently as mine was on the fritz, and it was starting to get annoying working in VR, always popping me backwards when I was standing there. So now that's taken care of, which is much better for CakeMix development.
